Never give up on the offline market

According to the selling market in Thailand now, e-commerce is not the only way to do your business but modern trade channels are also important.

After the Covid-19 crisis, offline distribution channels are recovering better than online channels and become the first choice for many manufacturers. In the second quarter of 2020, offline sales in Thailand increased by 10.7% while online sales dropped by 0.4%.

Thai shoppers spent THB 1,048 billion (US$33.7 billion) at retail stores in the second quarter of 2020, a 10.7% increase from the previous quarter. This marks the first time retail sales have grown since the fourth quarter of 2019.

The main reasons that shoppers choose to visit offline stores are because they can touch and feel the products, try them out, and receive immediate gratification.
