Visansack Khamphengvong has a remarkable career that spans across academia, industry, and policy. He obtained his PhD from the prestigious Beijing Institute of Technology, China, where he developed his passion for innovation and entrepreneurship.
He has worked with various national and international organizations, such as the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, and the United Nations, to provide insights and solutions for economic and social development.
He also leads the International Relations office of the Faculty of Economics and Business Management, where he fosters collaborations and partnerships with global institutions.
As the head of the Education Entrepreneurial Skills Advance Center (EESAC), he promotes a culture of creativity and problem-solving among students and faculty.
Khamphengvong’s research interests are diverse and interdisciplinary. He explores the complex interactions between foreign direct investment, trade, and poverty reduction, as well as the role of innovation and entrepreneurship in enhancing economic growth and social welfare.
